Birth and Baby Education Class 2

We invite you to join our FREE prenatal classes, designed specifically to equip expectant parents with comprehensive knowledge and support throughout the journey of pregnancy and into the postpartum period.

In class 2, we will explore the stages of labour during a normal, physiological birth. We will discuss how labour can start, including signs like the "water breaking" and contractions, and differentiate between true and false labour. Participants will learn about the nature of contractions, when to go to the hospital, and what to expect immediately after birth, such as early skin to skin contact with your baby and giving birth to the placenta. The class will cover the three stages of normal labour: the first stage (early, active, and transition), the second stage (delivery of the baby), and the third stage (delivery of the placenta).
