About the Recipe

Ingredients like oats, seeds and nuts are very nutritious, which is what your body needs in the days and weeks following birth. Some also believe that whole grains can help increase milk supply. It's so nice to have a ready prepared, healthy breakfast in the fridge waiting for you!

  • 2/3 cup rolled oats

  • 1/3 cup frozen strawberries, sliced

  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 and 1/3 cup of oat, almond or dairy milk.

  • 1 TBSP chia seeds

  • 1 TBSP sliced almonds

  • 1 TBSP shredded coconut

  • 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt (optional, but really nice!)

Step 1

You will need a 750 ml mason jar, or larger.

Add ingredients in layers as follows:

oats, chia seeds, almonds, coconut, fruit, milk, yogurt

Don't stir. Just put on the lid and place in the fridge for 12 hours.

You can serve it warm or straight from the fridge!
